Wild Hog Trapping - tripping the trap 2-21-09

SEE HOW WE GOT THEM OUT OF THE TRAP THE NEXT DAY -- "Hog TrappingTexas Style #1" by hogdude1234. Set a big panel trap near the house at the ranch; ran a trip wire from the trap to the livingroom window (see it on the lower right). Baited the trap for a week. I have tilt/pan network camera set up that caught the action. Watched for them on my computer. Just waited one night (9:49 PM CST), the hogs showed up. Pulled the trip wire sitting on the couch in the livingroom, crazy uh!! Trapped 22 of the 25out there. I shot the big boar you see outside the trap from the porch a couple of weeks later ( I didn't video it but you can see Hogdude1234's Hogzilla video).

I'm planning on trapping starting in a few weeks. Those little bastards are tearing up my land.

It would be nice if u can upload the part right before the pig get into the trap, also setting up the trap, kinda like a step by step thing. So we can see how they enter the trap.

Hi, looking at clips on Utube about pig trapping nobody kills the pig in the trap, is that standard practice, or does the blood deture other pigs in the fucture?
