Nice work! I must get round to uploading some of my Nitrotracker creations, i have barely touched it since i bought ds-10. Cheers.

I listen to the track again and I notice that the drums do sound pretty fantastic all the way thru, and the bass samples suck, but they work for the song. Either way it's impressive for tracker music.

@NotNotOminous Drum and bass is focused on the drums and bass. But that does not mean that it has to lack melody. Dillinja's old stuff was very minimal, but always had some melody.
I'm not making a comment on your track, just on dnb.

Oh yes. Think break. Gotta love it. This is excellent stuff man, especially for Nitrotracker. I would produce good breakcore on mine, but I don't have the space for all the samples I need, because I have too many ROMS on my cart.
the intro sounds really bad, once everything is going it sounds pretty good, but the bass samples sound pretty suck overall. the break at 2:55ish is badass for sure. the monotony of the whole thing makes me think of bad monotony, not good simplicity. it's like backwards music, where only rythym matters, and melody, harmony, pitch, timbre, and complex dynamics don't really matter.

To be fair, it's drum and bass style, where the focus is on a repetitive beat and bassline. It's interesting you mention melody and harmony though, cos at my current point with music that's what I feel I need to learn more of. I've been getting into some piano lessons for that. Thanks for the honest opinion.
