The Critter Guard security kit for the IPL waste collection carts used by the City of Port Coquitlam has been fully endorsed by Bear Aware. Prior to receiving Bear Aware endorsement, Critter Guard was required to install a kit on an IPL cart and send it to the Living with Wildlife Foundation (LWWF) facility in Montana for testing. This video is an excerpt from the LWWF testing videotape. Despite vigorous attempts by several bears, the Critter Guard security kit was not breached and received endorsement from the LWWF and Bear Aware as 'bear-resistant'.

  • @CatzEyes93

You'd get mashed by the force of the Bear pressing down on the can. You'd have multiple fractures but perhaps your moans of agony would scare the bear off...

  • so if I am about to get attacked by a grizzly.. I will see if one of these things are laying around. ;)
