  • Yeah not a dis but something has to be wrong that is way slow.

  • im not trying to dis but i have a 05 3500 dodge and its quicker then that and its stock

  • its matthew mcconaughey

  • wish i had the NV4500, had one in my 97 cummins, it was awsome. now im stuck with the auto lol. any mods since this vid?

*99 2500 4X4 cummins, straight pipe, HD torque converter, upgraded clutches, shift kit, Smarty*

  • I don't see any reason to accuse the guy of lying about boost #'s! Why would he?

It's not hard to hit 50PSI on an HX35 which will inevitably grenade after a while of doing that. But HX35's won't blow at 35-40. That's 100% BS and I got eight dozen friends who'll chime in and vouch for that point. I run my 62/68 at 60PSI which isn't ideal... but that's the only way to get 550HP out of a 62.

I will agree that an HY35 will grenade at 40PSI (or 35 if unlucky) bcuz that 9cm2 exh housing is 2 tight.

  • @jmanwild Yes I agree to both, I dont do it alot bc the egts take about 2 seconds to hit 1500, and I dont feel like rebuilding my engine over a grenaded turbo, Ive got a s300 in the mail Im gonig to try it out

  • @kawirider206 with that kinda power, your turbo wont last long, and its certainly the weak link in your setup.

  • @jmanwild Dude Im tellin ya, Ive hit 51 lbs of boost with only a hrvp44 and adrenaline, of course with an adjustable boost elbow closed all the way up, I have no reason to lie, but yeah, 51 pounds of boost thats half as efficient as 20 from a s400

  • @kawirider206 i dont believe the 50lb's boost, but ya, nv4500 or 5600 are ok with dual disk,

hx/jy35's grenade somewhere around the 35-40 pound mark, plus, an hx35 doesn't flow worth crap at 50 pounds. time for an upgrade

  • @jmanwild Ive got a southbend dual disc, so no worries there, and Ive ran my hx35 on my other truck with an adrenaline, hitting 50+ lbs of boost and its still ok, Id rather be able to custom tune and have a few other nice options than buy an edge
