Quick review on the lenmar PPUALF1 powerport flash usb battery. It features a 2,000 mah storage capacity via a lithium ion cell, 2 ways of recharging, power status indicators and also a powerful 4 led flashlight. I tested this device with a variety of different devices over the past 2 weeks, with very good results. It was able to run my ipod touch maxed out, for over 13 hours and 10 hours with my gps and phone. It has an innovative 12-24 volt adapter, allowing it to be recharged in the car or via solar. A second way to recharge the flash is by using the included micro usb charging cable, both methods only requiring 2-3 hours. The powerport flash is lightweight, affordable and powerful, truly making it a great value. It is also made by a company who strives to make the best portable power gadgets. To get a powerport flash of your own, please check online and with your local electronics retailer.

  • @richzimmer Not yet, but I've seen tons of videos about it. The thing keeping me away from one of those is the button cell batteries. I usually stick to rechargeable lights or lights that can accept rechargeable batteries (mainly because I'm cheap, LOL). Right now the smallest light I carry is a 4Sevens preon 1

if they ever make one of those that can recharge off usb or something, I'll have to give it a look!

  • Hey, have you tried the streamlight Nano? I attached it to the chain on my wallet and carry it everyday, its smaller than a zipper(and could be used as one) and is SUPER bright! I love it!

  • @zethca Thanks man !

I already have a review of the ipad 2 in the works......will probably post it in a week or so.

  • Very thorough review. You should do some videos on the iPad!
