im not scared of the ball, though im a defenseman and ive kinda learned not to flinch or move out of the way lol. but heck, id jump out of the way if i wasnt wearing a cup, did you see where that thing was heading?! =P

If you like your face, and teeth. Always wear a helmet when a ball is being tossed. Accidents happen. I've been hit in the teeth before, when I was a newbie. lol I even wear a helmet during wall ball reps.

its a fuckin pound of solid rubber the only people not afraid of the ball are goalies (those guys are frekin nuts)and some dpoles who take the hit while the goalie is out of the cage

well it was in front of him and it was at almost the same level as his testes. so i would have jumped/flinched too.

One time at conditioning before the season my friend threw me a ball from about 40 yards away,he didnt even call my name,i was just walkin and outta no where i get hit in the nuts.The ball didnt even bounce.

I sure had his help lol.
