  • Great review!! We install our car seats ourselves though. I never knew you could get them professionally installed. One thing I do see alot is when ppl buckle their child in, they leave the chest strap in whatever position. When it is suppose to be placed like next to their armpits... if that makes sense lol! So sorry this happened to you :/ That is really scary though knowing other ppl haad their car seats installed their...

  • @aacosta26 They told me that locally 99% of car seats are installed wrong. The number that they quote is like 3 out of 4 or something... so it's totally worth getting looked at! Gave me peace of mind (the second time!) anyways... my husband's was great with the exception of the towel/noodle thing...

SUPER scary!!! Totally freaked me out!!

  • @aacosta26 Hey... I have a question I have been meaning to ask you... do you use disposable batteries of the rechargeable one for your Flip?

  • Thats a shame that the local police/fire station doesn't check them for free. Good for you making sure that everything was done properly!

  • @cjcook04 Thanks! It's a total bummer! I didn't even know that other places do it until you all told me!

  • just saw this car seat at Target! Very nice. I liked it a lot.

  • @NWGandee I love it!

  • Hi I have a question how do you take it off to wash? I have the same car seat.

  • My ydd is in her infant car seat at the moment but looking for a convertible seat for the future. Do you still recommend this seat. Do you plan to buy this seat for Drake?

  • i have this car seat and i absolutely love it!!

  • Hey you can NOT use the crotch buckle in the outer most position like it is when RF it is in the manual, it must be in one of the two back positions. it should be as close to the child as possible but not under them.

  • I am really happy my wife got the MaxiCosi Priori XP. I not sure how you could screw up the installation on that seat...or any child seat for that matter. Or that screwing up the installation for a car seat is something a overly-paid tech could do. Word of advice, find someone to cut you a foam wedge for your seat instead of using the noodles. I am sure it would work better and be more convenient for you.

  • Boriinggg but ur smoking hot. Well worth it

  • Did you check seatcheck . org for local techs and seat check events in your area?

  • @brae05093 Pool noodles help give the correct recline angle for RF seats. Although, I think you are only suppose to use up to 3 noodles per seat. OP I thought I saw 4. Might want to double check that.

  • @AssNutt nice sn. lol. Any ways, only 2 types of convertible seats can be tethered rear-facing, and thats Britax and Sunshine Kids. We actually tether ours to the floor for rear facing, though.

  • I hope this isn't too personal but I was just curious what you and your husband do for a living? The seat looks nice and safe! I'm glad you contacted the company and got the problem fixed ;) I would have tried to have something done about that guy who installs the car seats!
