Def Leppard performing "Paper Sun'" live in Tokyo, Japan during the Euphoria Tour in 1999. [edit] This song was written in regards to the IRA and the Omagh Bombing i 1998. In an interview Joe said they were watching the television broadcasts of the aftermath and had it on mute and wrote the lyrics.

This song is such kick ass and I have seldom seen it on their tour song list! Fellows, when you tour in the US, put Paper Sun on the list please. That song rules and commands a better stage set up and lights. It should be in a disaster setting or something of that abyss-ness sense.
