CHP Motor Officer Killed, Redlands Area

A CHP motor officer was struck and killed by a big rig at about 0630 this AM at the intersection of Alabama and San Bernardino Sts in the city of Redlands. Word is that he was pursuing a vehicle failing to yield when he was struck and killed while attempting to follow the suspect vehicle through the intersection. The officer's motorcycle was crushed under the big rig and exploded. The suspect vehicle crashed a short distance away and all inside (there were 4 including the driver) were taken into custody. this is real sad .on june 17 ive seen dozens of chp on 10 freeway headed twards redlands going east .at the time i was listening to pink floyd the great gig in the sky and it fit together.sucks to see some one didnt make it home from work and lost there life r.i.p. and best wishes to his family

I was there..... I saw him 3 minutes before he died. We were only 2 traffic lights away. The chase went right in front of us. Fucking sucks!
