Rep. Fudge: "Holder Contempt Vote is Unjust"

Representative Marcia L. Fudge: Today I rise to speak in opposition of a Resolution to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress. In total disregard that the Attorney General and the Department of Justice have cooperated with each inquiry from the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee within the last 15 months. Chairman Issa decided to pursue this extreme and unprecedented action. To take action on this resolution is a gross misuse of this chambers time and energy, given that the information requested by the Chairman will shed no light on the person or persons responsible for the death of Agent Brian Terry, and that is where our time and energy should be focused. Instead of wasting the time of the Committee the Department of Justice and the American people with political distractions the House should, should be addressing the issues important to the welfare of this country and its people and that, is jobs.

Who is guilty, Marcia? President Obama is guilty of accessory to murder when he ordered Project Gunrunner (aka Fast and Furious) back in 2009. Then delegated it to Holder who carried out that order with the Phoenix ATF and DEA. Then the drug cartels they allowed to have functioning weapons murdered Brian Terry, and hundreds more.

THAT'S WHO COMMITTED THESE MURDERS, MARICA, AND MORE! Everyone is on track with that. The incredible loss of life alone means you should yield your dog & pony show now.

Shut up, Marcia. On the verge of revolution you're playing political race games. This isn't the mere knowledge and cover-up of only a break-in of the democratic offices in a hotel. Hundreds of Mexican nationals have been murdered with these weapons. Our own law enforcement officers have been murdered with these weapons!

I'm sorry. Shut up and let justice happen or as President Kennedy said, "those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable." We just want justice!
