The best version of this song is on the 1990 album "X- Live at the Whisky a Go-Go" Plus a couple more Knitters songs. Best live album I've ever heard.

First off, this is an " X" remake (and obviously they can do that!!!!). second, I am shocked PETA has not jumped all over their shit for this song.....it is about a guy who kills chickens by stomping all over them.

I agree with corkscrewfoley. If you listen to Los Angeles and Wild Gift, there is rockabilly/country written all over them.

Ymmm, if you listen to X, you would know they flirt with this style of music (rockabilly). I think it's freakin' awesome.
