if anything the game was cool before the third one..then it got really bad..i read in a game mag they are calling all the new guitar games the uglyness...skate 2 is a way better simulation than guitar hero!!!
not completey true though, I played guitar for about 5 or 6 years before GH was out and when it came out I stomped the game waaaay too fast, its like have a guitar but you only have to worry about 5 HUGE frets lol
If you'll look I did say some are good with both.
But you are right, it is like a big fretted axe. Though, each one isn't that big for a lower fret like 1-3, but they're all the same, instead of each getting slightly thinner.
THANK YOU! you put what i've been trying to say to quite a few people for a while into understandable words, i also played guitar hero first, which i got really good at, but i only played it because i wanted to play electric guitar but my parents would never buy me one, but a year and a half ago they did buy me one, and now im decent at it too!
Heh, lucky. I had to buy my first electric. Ibanez Gio Series Mikro GRGM21, cherry red. I waited a year for my parents to get me my B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock for Christmas, and it was a bit harder for me to play for a while because my Ibanez is short scale, unlike the Warlock, but I've gotten really good since then, being able to play a respectable amount of Gilbert, like this, Technical Difficulties and some of Scarified among others.
Guitar Hero's fun to play every now and then, though.
Haha that sucks, yeah I only had a little trouble changing from my squier because the action on it was higher than HELL, but now i bought myself an Epiphone Les Paul, and an Ibanez RG350EX, the Ibanez is my favorite, and like you, I can kinnnda play Technical Difficulties... without rhythym of course :)
I didn't know an EX existed (unless it was a typo), but I've always wanted a DX ever since I saw longestsoloever play Through the Fire and Flames with one.
It's not a typo, in the (current) 350 series there's EX-black,DX-white and MDX, which is black with a maple fretboard, along with limited blue yellow and red 350s.
