The TV is on the market since May 2008. I Think this TV will get an EISA Award. Perfect Picture with beautiful Colors.

This light is built in in all Ambilight Spectra 3 TVs from Philips. A real benefit!So, you have to buy such a TV

Yes you can turn it off. But you can also turn it on, when TV is off (lounge mode).
