Billy Fields has been living with HIV/AIDS since 1999. Billy first became affiliated with SUS in 2005 when he moved into a scatter site apartment in the Supportive Housing for Seniors program for persons living with HIV/AIDS. Over the years, Billy has become increasingly involved in HIV/AIDS advocacy and politics. Currently, he sits on the consumer advisory board for consumer councils for the following organizations: the NYC HIV Planning Council, the Brooklyn Care Network, the Downstate Hospital STAR Clinic, and the Cicatelli Leadership Training Institute. He is featured in our ongoing look at "The SUS List" - a documentary series featuring stories from SUS consumers and leadership in their own words.
