I wish we could have a garden here, but the property managers put it rock landscaping and there's nary a patch of dirt to be found. I might try growing a little somethin' in a container or two on my balcony, though. Our climate is so weird, being Oregon coast and all, that we don't start getting good consistent sunlight til late May or early June. :-(

@Neferkit Definitely do containers! As you saw, most ly everything I have is in a container because the soil here is CRAP!  If, when I get paid, there is anything left over, I am going to Sam's Club--they have an above ground garden thingy I want to get. I hope they still havethem!

Your lettuce looks beautiful, Beth! I miss having a garden - I live in an apartment now and no access to a yard or outside area. I can't wait to find a house so I can garden and grow goodies!! :)

@BigGirlSmallTown I hope you get your house and yard.. It really is nice and fulfilling to say, "I will go outside and get some green onions and add it to this." There truly is nothing like it. I want more, and hope to have it in a month or two :)

Wow those bananas are manini kind!! Your garden is really nice. I miss planting. Texas has the wierd weather so we can't really plant much, but I want to try. I think we may need to check out your garden when we are there. Beautiful!

@silverscreamgrl I honestly don't think she would care if he had a girlfriend or not! She would be happy about it I think. I must admit that I thought about calling her just to tell her about it and see if it bothered her... but, I am not talking to her since our last conversation.. I hung up on her.. She did ask about him during that conversation though and I think it was the first time.. Connie feels the same as me about our mom!!
