I was looking for my metronome and tuner, and found them both in my banjo case. I haven't even looked at my banjo in a year, and the spirit came over me.
The banjo is an old Kamico (not Japanese) that was a birthday gift and purchased from a pawn shop as a derelict. The rim and tone ring are solid wood. The head is a remo fibre head, the bridge is mahogany with an ebony top. The neck was broken at one time and was repaired very nicely. I just have light strings on the instrument.
The tune is one of my very favorite tunes, and I think it would sound absolutely heavenly if it were transcribed to the Great Highland Pipes. Unfortunately I don't know a thing about writing music
Thanks !!!
