In a time, long since past... In an age of darkness, when the Earth was overrun with demons and humans were powerless under their rule... Humanity's hope lived in a demon named Sparda. With a spirit unlike any other, and wielding the sword that bore his own name, Sparda eradicated the demons. And now, the legend of Sparda... has been inherited by his son. The demon slayer, Dante! Man, Capcom... This game should have been better but I'm not complaining okay! This game is my favorite out of all the Devil May Cry games. Wanna know why? It was my first game of the series and it introduce me to Dante. I was hooked ever since! He was different from other game characters I've come across! Half man and half demon all HERO! Pure badass. He will charge at the very pits of hell itself to show his badassery! Game is too easy though and lacks Dante's crazy attitude from the other games like the taunts and intimidating presense. This one shows his most mature side and serious tone. It completely defines my personality! This game also features another female warrior named Lucia. She's fine as hell! Seriously! Lady is still my beloved though. Fine woman indeed. The soundtrack of this game as well as the other three DMCs is spectacular. Choir and metal and rock and ambience = pure EARGASM! XD Well, enjoy! And yeah, remember... even devils cry... *sob sob*

@ComicComet im pretty touch and go when it comes to storylines, what attracted me to this game was how Dante maneuvered. I think the only game i really couldn't enjoy due to the story was Bayonetta.

@lannysizzle13 two is really good, and if it had to do with the storyline as of 3 1 4 and the 2.

I for one think that if I was killing demon and lost my mother, and killed my only brother then I would have eventually lost my comical side to an extent. People dont like this one much cause hes not as flashy or funny as the others. Sometimes comedy doesnt cut it. As if all action adventure games have to be funny and flashy to make the fans like it.

@ACEgrand629 While Im one of the few who actually like this game, i will say there are a lot of problems. For one the combat isn't as fluid or refined as the original. Another thing is the A.I. of the enemes(mainly the bosses) is horrible. The building boss you fight on there i discovered if you stand right beneath him, you can just blast him with your guns until he's dead, his attacks won't reach you. Those are just a few of the problems. Also its terribly shorter than the others
