Roboat 2011 is a "robotic-boat" capable of following a route digitized on a Google Earth map by means of an Arduino microcontroller, a GPS and a digital compass.
While sailing it acquires depth measurements that eventually can be converted into a bathimetric map.

  • bel lavoro! io le vendo da qualche anno col processore Propeller, comunque complimenti vivissimi per aver fatto stare tutto l'autopilota dentro a un arduino... si muove in modo molto pulito!

  • I'd like to see it as well. I'm working on a boat as part of an engineering club at my school. I'm in charge of the electrical end of things and I'd love to add in some GPS functionality.
