I used to live in a house in Minneapolis that was right out of inner-city Detroit. The basement flooded whenever it rained, the back door didn't lock which resulted in multiple thefts, most of the windows were caulked shut, the carpet was filthy, one bedroom had a floor that slanted so bad you had to lean into it, there was no AC in the summer and no heat in the winter, and on top of all that I'm half-convinced the place was haunted. $500 a month for that shit.

Should've lynched my landlord.

@131flora Those lyrics, and countless other lyrics by the DK's and other bands alike, are very tongue-in-cheek and not to be interpreted literally. Dark humor has always been part of Biafra's appeal. This appears to be lost on you.

@TheGamerDictator - let's be fair. Biafra has made some good points, but he tells you what to think, and in many cases his directions are flawed. As an example, take California Uber Alles where he compares CA under Jerry Brown to Nazi Germany. Maybe he's not stupid, but that is a stupid observation - it's absurd, and worse, irritating.
