An "expert" that the BBC found claims that the consumers were the ones that got the UK in recession, with their out of control borrowing, no mention of good old New Labour with their out of control borrowing and spending binge on the nations credit card. No, in fact, it was New Labour that has saved the UK. Stupid b@stard !

Recorded from BBC 24 News, 26 January 2010.

  • Wait a minute. What's this fellow saying? The consumer is to blame that the UK is not coming out of recession, because he is saving instead of borrowing money. So the solution is that we continue borrowing on our credit cards so that we can buy shit that we don't need which is made in China and S. Korea, and that will make the country well again. But if people don't save, where is the money coming from to borrow? Oh, I get it. We print it. Right?

  • @recessionlover You summed it up very well, the consumer should continue to spend spend spend on crap. That is what New Labour want.

Do a search fo "jibjab" and "big box mart", the video sums up these idiot economists very well.

  • This presenter sounds like he came straight out of Sky network to a job on the British Bullshitting Corporation. Outsourcing brit. jobs to the colonies in times of deep recession, whatever next.

  • Where do they find these people?More importantly how much do they pay them to talk so much bullshit.
