@antnotforwar Not trying to disrespect your opinion or anything, but 1999 was not a great year in hip hop. Sure Eminem, The Roots, and Mos Def were dropping solid records during that year, but it was also the year Cash Money and No Limit took over. The greatest year in hip hop was, and will forever be, 1994, with 1996 being a runner-up. 1999 was not a great year or even a runner-up for any genre of music, especially pop. Again, no disrespect to your opinion.
