My wife and kids think I'm Mr. Tough Guy, but I really just want the best for them. I'm hard on my son because I want him to be successful. I work because I want to provide for my family. Does anyone understand?

  • I'm not sure if something this personal should be on the front page.

  • well, good video. i agree with you. my dad, just so happens to be the same way. i find it impossible that another man could be harder on his child than that of my father, tho. the only thing, tho, is the fact that since my dad is so strict on me, i fear im not fully prepared for college life, nor the real world. i wasnt allowed to make my own mistakes. i base lofe off of the ones my father made. idk if you are a good dad. but i know mine is. but, i wish he would let me grow...on my own

  • My parents used to say that too. I'm older than you and never said it to my child because I hated to hear it.

  • u look like ur thirty. wow i wouldnt believe ur 57

  • Money cant buy love or happiness.

My kids feel loved because i spend lots of time with them, having fun.. We are poor, but very happy.

  • From the heart man I love it.

    :)

  • booooooooooooring.

  • You have learned to fake sincerity quite well.

I would find a more private forum if I wanted to win over my kids. If however I wanted to win points, I would make a video for all to see.

  • The point is you have to put time into work to be a good provider (Most People) Point 2 is he will back off when he see's that Tyler is taking charge of his own life because that is the ultimate goal of a father for their kids. Im almost 40 & my dads 65 and I beleive the childs happiness and achievement greatly helps a fathers guilt for the fathers absence and wrong doings of the fathers younger years. This usually hits dads around 55. Not saying its wrong either. Fathers make mistakes.

  • my dad's a kid inside he likes vidio games a cartoons!

    yay i love my dad

  • My dad is great, he saved me from a war in russia when i was born, raised me, provided food...

  • wow that's so true so many people don't understand that
