My whole life(61 years) I have dismissed Country Music, as a mindless distraction for ignorant ''Rednecks''.Much of it is still that. Then I heard Hal Ketchum. He is not cut from the same cloth as the current field of artists.He is not mainstream.Which is probably why he hasn't recieved his due.His music is thought provoking & beautifully crafted & his voice is unique & flawless.His music is what Country should aspire to.He combines Country,Blues & Rock & leaves all the others in his wake.

@HKSureLove .. I couldn't agree more .. What a talented artist he is

So true, Hal's music is always beautiful, no matter what he's singing. Curb sure
didn't promote him like they should have done. Every concert I've been to has been sold out, so why didn't the radio's promote the songs? It's a pity and a HUGE disappointment, such Talent should have been up there with Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, etc. Hal's better and the world should know it.

@HeSapawin .. I agree, it is a mystery why this terrific cd was a European release only.. I think there were two singles .. This song and "Alamo", but with zero to little promotion/support from the record company neither did very well .. What a shame, indeed.. Gotta love MrKetchum!

It's too bad 'One More Midnight' wasn't released in the U. S. He's never sang a song I didn't want to hear again and again. Thanks for sharing with us!
