half these guys take out the knee, and shouldnt be considered great hitters. Kronwall and Phaneuf are way better.

love scott stevens, but i still dont like that hit on Lindros. Fuckin elbow to his jaw....i understand his head was down....but it was an elbow....

Don't get me wrong, I love some of Stevens hits and he is the best hitters of all time but I gotta say that I really don't like the hit on Kariya. I think it was a late and blindsided hit but then again, this was before the change and it was a little harder back then but with todays measurements I think he would have gotten a long suspension for a hit like that.

@ic0n0clast21 did you see hnic where shannahan reviewed every one of scott stevens hits and said that they would all still be legal in the nhl today. some people have a real tough time understanding the rules.
