In this episode I show how to make all natural, earth-friendly, eco-chic soap. Using an Organic Melt & Pour base, natural colors and essential oils, this soap project is made even more natural by using recycled containers as soap molds. I love how stylish and understated the soap turned out in the video and I hope you will, too!

  • ppl taking cancer treatments, radiation, chemotherapy are advised to stay away from micorwaved foods. There is a small trace amount of radiation in the heating elements of microwaves. It is deemed safe the the FDA, however many Dr.s and ppl are still skeptical.

  • @saharra22469 You can also melt your soap in a double boiler or in a slow cooker (crockpot).

  • also what are the cudes that melt, and used as base called? where shoul i get them?!?!?

  • @abbyqxoxo222 That is the melt & pour soap base and you can get it online at Bramble Berry or at most craft supply stores.

  • can i use witch hazel instead of alchohal?

  • @abbyqxoxo222 Witch Hazel doesn't have as much alcohol in it - so it can leave a residue behind.

  • @TheDrWooty Making melt & pour soap from scratch is a pretty complicated process. I am using a pre-made base that we sell at Bramble Berry. If you want to make your own organic soap I would start with Cold Process soapmaking. Check out my series of 4 how-to videos to get started.

    Happy Soaping!

  • OOH, I want to start making my own soap. I must research this.

  • @magicbrightmaster read the title. The cleaning of the molds isn't eco friendly, but the soap itself IS, which is what the title says.
