John Ewbank. The Hollywood Go Go

Satire; spoken word with music. This is the very first piece John wrote upon his arrival in New York, in 1980, immediately after having spent several months living in Hollywood. The entire piece was written in one fourteen-hour session, in a loft in Tribeca. This particular performance was filmed for the Australian Broadcast Corporation, in Melbourne, in 1989. It was added to You Tube in 2007, and still stands up well, 27 years after it was written.
