The egg should be like jelly and with a gray yolk and more solid. Add to porridge and it tastes good.

Best way to eat the egg is to cut it in cube, and cook it in a rice soup for 5 min. The rice soup will turn into a battery taste. It's very hardcore to eat it raw! Most Chinese eat it well cook.

This is utter ignorance... I've eaten century eggs (just to let you know that century means a hundred not a thousand)many times as I live in Thailand and they are delicious, especially when made in to a Thai salad(yam kai yew maa).
They are not usually this color either. The shell is pink. You've obviously made this video and have absolutely no idea about them. You're a bunch of American ignoramuses....

We must have gotten a bad batch or something then, because the egg itself was almost worse (see the other video in my feed). It was the most putrid, sulfuric-smelling thing I've ever been around.
