bass keeps the harmonic and the rhythmic sections of a song, which many people don't know. bass technically is the "leader". It sets the tone, keeps the tempo and rhythym, sets the harmony, and plays the melody. The rest of the band must follow the bass or it sounds horrible. I choose bass because of the scarsity of bassists, and because i like to prove to people like you how much the bass is underestimated.

@learningbass lol my drum teacher only played percussion instruments so didn't really know about bass so i suppose he never told us o' well

@OfficiallyPlaying the drummer follows the bass its the drummers tempo. my former drum teacher told me to always listen for the bass. XD
