Severe Tstorm - FRI 8/4/95

((please click ''more info''))... A very nice closeby bolt seen at '' 08:37 '' with huge thunderclap...despite tightly closed window. After many days of dewpoints in the mid-70s..a cold front brought real severe Tstorms to much of southern New England... including my place...This was the noisiest Tstorm I had in all of the 1990s. BTW..please excuse the following: Less-than-par pix quality since I have no direct means of uploading onto YouTube my OLD VHS-videos, plus my frequently calling out ''lightning, lightning'' when I see a bright flash..since I was audiotaping the severe Tstorm too using 3 CTRs...so when playing back the audiotapes of this Tstorm..I'll then know when to expect the thundeclaps. Anyways..as always..love ANY comments....and also many TYSVMs to those of you having added me as a 'YouTube-friend'' ''subscribing to my videos'' and so on....((updated 255pm EST 11/15/09...))

Ohhhh TYSVVVM, Jonas...for viewing this real HUGE Tstorm video..with lotsa CGs and thunder...indeed.... the huge crash at '' 08:39 ''....I myself was very HAPPY with that one too, Jonas...however..it wouldn't be until 6/19/98 I'd get my next real biggie.. BTW..Jonas....you can tell it was 1995....as the same direction I had my OLD camcorder viewing...there were hardly ANY tall trees back then...now...lotsa trees have overgrown in that same direction...much to my chagrin too..

Wow! Nice lightning captures!

I remember videotaping storm videos a long time ago with a RCA Camcorder that use VHS tapes! I tried to work on a video of one of my old storm captures but it is so out of shape, and won't even play in my video editing program. But it really means a lot to me since it was my very first capture of a supercell back in the year 2000!

So I understand that your old storm captures mean the world to you! Thanks for sharing!

TYSVM, Nathan, for your viewing my 8/4/95-Tstorm video here.... and yes...it was quite a monster of a Tstorm for southern RI...I was very happy with my own audio-videotaping of it. And yiehss....wish we both could use today's latest YouTube-able technology to upload OLD videos ((VHS)) onto YouTube directly....Your own 4/19/2000-supercell video sure does earn lotsa emmies..nice job..... I do have many other VHS-Tstorm videos dating back to 6/2/89..at least.. my 7/28/89-video was 'YouTubed'.

TYSVVM, Dave.... for your sweet compliments on my own severe Tstorm I gladly videoed 8/4/95.... it was quite intense for this part of New England. TYSVM also for the nice subscription. I plan on adding more such YouTube videos in the weeks ahead.

Was this the storm that cause the Adirondeck Downburst and 100 mph winds in Otis, MA? What a storm that was, but I don't remeber it because I was small, but I heard it was bad.
