Not his complete name, He calls himself Johnny A because his last name is Greek and extremely hard to pronounce by his own account.

I see there are three guitars in the back, he said in his interview he didn't want to keep changing guitars thru the set, wanted to have one guitar that did everything he wanted to play. Wonder what the others are there for....tunings? I have a spare around for my gigs, true, but....anyone know??

@XMathis i agree, absolutely brilliant ,saw him live in toronto several years ago at the silver dollar, part of music week, he was the opening set from a list of three acts, tony d., from ottawa , david gogo ,from victoria,two accomplished blues players, i saw tony at the bar totally into johnny, and it was only 8:30, WOW WHAT A NITE.

wow, this is so much better than "Oh Yeah" - I read the wikipedia article about Johnny (with all about Oh Yeah being #1 on the radio), watched "Oh Yeah", and was rather disappointed.
But this song is great!
What really annoys the crap out of me is the lagging video.... :/

I think that Johnny A has become my single favorite Guitar Player. I just love his music. His tone is amazing. I mean I would hate to pick one guitarist over all the others that I love to listen to, but I find that I play more of his stuff on my iPod than any other guitar player. Esp. anything from "Sometime Tuesday Morning."

Gibson Johnny A signature.....check the Gibson website for info....there's also some interesting interview vids with Johnny A about designing the guitar, playing, influences,etc.
