  • If you needed this chair, and wanted to go down steps you would not have sufficient lower limb strength to keep sat on the chair and would find yourself slipping down! I know.

  • @1chillout Hi, The Challenger has a gyroscopic seat that keeps you level so you wouldn't need to suuport yourself with your legs. It comes with aseatbelt as standard and a harness can also be provided if necessary. Kindest regards.

  • $15,600 the price of a new car. This should be $2000.

  • @Hesam0000

Where can you buy a stair climbing all terrain wheelchair for $2,000? A new Ibot would have cost $30,000 and the stair climbing ability of the Challenger is better. You are, of course, entitled to your opinion. All the best

  • Hi, Glad you like it. Thanks

  • @CHALLENGER4X4 IBOT was $25000, it didn't sell and they lowered the price to $24,000 then they discontinued it. People buy wheelchairs from China for $150 to $500 then they turn around and sell them here for $1000-$15000. This chair should be narrower so it can be practical for indoors then it should get mass-produced and priced under $2000. If I bought my beautiful 2002 Subaru 4x4 for $3000 I'm sure they can build this for $500 and sell for profit at $2000.

  • @rob1950s I have. But I prefer the BerkeleyBionics exoskeleton which is lighter and thinner.

  • @Hesam0000 just check out Honda legs on you tube

  • its brill , just wish i could afford one

  • @riiidaa They all use Gyroscopes. IBOT, this, Segway, all. They can also use this same technology and build a bodysuit for people with difficulty walking but they won't because that will ruin their billions in business from wheelchair sales, and all related income. If they can build a robotic dog that walks on ice and climbs mountains how can't they do the same for human who has brain and control too?

  • @CHALLENGER4X4 I said "They should be" didn't say "They are". Why can't we find stair-climbing wheelchairs for $2000? I'm sure you know why.

It's called GREED. Also called FRAUD. Why? because there is something called Medicare that pays medical suppliers $5000 for a wheelchair they bought from China for $200. Without Medicare, or with tough regulation these would've sold for $400.
