Tales of Symphonia OVA - "Reign of Sorrow" AMV

Thought I'd take a break from making Zelda videos and try something a little different. This is probably one of the few AMVs per se that I'll make, seeing how I don't really consider my other ones to be anime music videos. That being said, this turned out to be one of my better videos, probably due to the broader range of clips that animes tend to offer, and Tales of Symphonia's OVA is no exception.

I'd been planning to make a Symphonia video for a while, but since the in-game cutscenes weren't very action oriented, I decided to wait for the OVA to be released to give it a shot. 'No More Sorrow' has a sombre but lively pace, and it worked rather well with the themes in ToS. Anyone who knows the story of the game will recognize the themes of sorrow and destruction in the declining world, as well as Lloyd and Kratos' rebellion against the practices of Lord Yggdrasil's Cruxis organization.

Seeing how this video is so different from what I usually make, I wanted to give it its own title. "Reign of Sorrow" was the name I ultimately decided on, as it references the theme of the video: Cruxis/the Desians 'reign of sorrow' in Sylvarant. It's also kind of a homage to Zelda, as some fans may recognize its similarity to the rumored title for Twilight Princess, 'The Reigns of Sorrow'. I designed the video itself to be as quick and militant as Linkin Park's song, and although the compression blurred it a bit, I'm pretty pleased with the final product. Maginus doesn't get much attention, so I thank you wholeheartedly for the clips that you used that featured Magnius 8D (Though, Yuan, Kratos, and Lloyd are my favorites >.>)

I think I watched almost all the TOS' amv on youtube but that's the first time that I'm truly amazed by a TOS' amv. Awesome. Your job is brillant =)

Amazing video - the OVA deserves more love. <3 Great song, the choice of clips is also fantastic, but I'd like to know how you got the raws. Trying to make a video, but I could only find a raw of Episode 1. -_-
