I'm going to watch this to get me in the mood for Rockstar Games' upcoming release - L.A. Noire. It's a detective game set in 1947 Los Angeles, first trailer will be on my site tomorrow.

A fun movie....I watched it one night...pre-cable on late night tv. Not very true to the book "The High Window" by Raymond Chandler, plus Marlowe is a bit "dapper" with mustache and all in this. I believe they were doing Noir on a Maltese Falcon level here. I do hope it sees the dvd light of day sometime!

Will this ever see the light of day on DVD?
I thought Fox would have included it in
their film noir series. I guess they didn't
think it worthy. That sucks because I've never seen it.

Yeah! Conrad Janis was in films, T.V. and Broadway since he was 13, and I saw this film in Palm Springs during a Film Noir Festival. He's now starring ad directing BAD BLOOD THE HUNGER opposite Piper Laurie and a bevy of gorgeous up and coming stars. It's on you tube too & the film has won17 Festival Awards. Want to buy it and Brasher doubloon on D.V.D a.s.a.p. WHERE???
