A lot of Filipinos say that we don't have to actually worry about ABNOY AQUINO's ability, since all that matters is that he is the son of Ninoy and Cory Aquino. Therefore, he is a good person.

It is this logic, or lack thereof, that motivates the majority of the voting populace. No matter how foggy the logic is, as long as there is a recognizable boundary between GOOD and EVIL - that will suffice. This populace only need that little information to feel assured and will always vote for whatever that is perceived as GOOD. Mediocrity in the nth degree, is this what the Filipinos had become?

How can ABNOY understand hunger, when he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth? How can he understand the Filipino family, when he doesn't have a family of his own? How can he understand the NEEDS of the poor, when he only sees the WANTS of the wealthy? How can ABNOY possibly know what is GOOD for the Filipino people, when he can't even care for the Hacienda Luisita farmers?... that is not a GOOD person to be president.
