Free Ride! Beyond the Bicycle

Free Ride! is a non-profit recycle-a-bike shop located in Pittsburgh, PA. We operate as a collective and are 100% volunteer run.

We are a bicycle education facility, dedicated to offering tools, space and knowledge to encourage people to fix up and maintain their own bicycles. We offer several adult and youth classes on bicycle mechanics. We run "open shop" hours where anyone can come in to use our tools and space to work on their bikes. We also offer programs like Earn-A-Bike, where participants may select, fix up, and volunteer-or-pay for one of our donated bikes.
