Hi John,
What kind of a bill would you give this customer for all this work? Also, why did you not put hardened seats in it? I have a hard time selling work (time) the customers just go out and buy heads complete. I end up doing this stuff just for myself. In this case, your customer cannot buy aftermarkets.
At 1:46 how did you center the mill with the valve guide?

@ilivensoca - The workhead floats on air and it is moved into position and then clamped in place.

do you think i could resurface a cylinder head with a belt sander? i would be very careful of course. my head is pretty flat, i just has some hardened goo like stuff on it and i need to get it off without damaging the head, its on a ford 400 M engine. and i dont have much money to have someone else do stuff to it.

@dnl5649 - The head will be just as warped if you use a belt sander, it need to be milled.
