@pipus4444 Or maybe... the fossil fuel industry is afraid that people will use less of their product and so they've decided to create a campaign of confusion so that people are less willing to accept what scientists are saying is happening. I would say the FF industry has several billion reasons per quarter to come to such a conclusion.
Shady Authorities found that they could create a carbon tax that is total non sense, to become richer than ever .
By the way , a single explosion from pretty much any volcano will get Co2 ratings up ! always did always will, Co2 is last of my concerns , talk about radioactive wastes, now that is nasty shit we should be preoccupied with!
I am in the process of doing research to reach an informed opinion on the matter of global warming. The problem with this video is that it relies heavily on logical fallacies of "cum hoc ergo propter hoc" and "ad verecundiam/populum". I'm trying to keep an open mind, but this video does not provide the evidence to convince me that man-made GW is true. Can anyone point me to evidence that is more substantial than mere correlation, and covers more time than just a few hundred years?
@tootletwo No, there is NOT a "body of informed opinion" that says that. There are a very small handful of oil industry funded scientists who are saying that.
There seems to be a body of informed opinion that says global warming is nothing but a natural occurrence. The linking with CO2 also seems to debatable. i.e. just what is the time line of this linking - before or after?
How can these Repugnican conflict-of-interest laden politicians deny THIS? They are bought out by their EVIL corporate donors & lobbyists & are making a poor attempt to brainwash American citizens to bring unnecessary doubt on what is clear to over 97% of climate scientists. These scientists are NOT trying to pull the wool over people's eyes & have NO incentive to this. It is clear that Republicans DO have an incentive to falsify science. Bush's "War on Science" was clearly impeachable.
these organisations don't have their members to take a vite on the issue, they simply toe the party line for the new global warming religion. There are thousands of scientists and thousands of scientific peer reviewed papers that present a different side to this hypothesis ... for example there are literally hundreds of scintific papers that confirn that the medieval warm period was GLOBAL and was warmer than it is today ... without any help from man made co2.
