  • Note to people who have no common sense: This method is used to repair SMALL rust spots. This does NOT solve the problem completely and if rust affects an important structural area on a monocoque body, this repair will not give it it's strenght back.

    If the floors, quarter panels, pillars, frame rails, rockers etc... are affected, covering it up will only make it worse. Spending more time and money by cutting the affected area and welding new metal in place is the ONLY real solution.

    yes, rust holes are better to fix with the welding method
