"New" Usama bin Laden Tape Appears

On the heels of numerous warnings recently leaked from the U.S. government about increased threats of terrorism against the U.S. homeland, a tape of Usama bin Laden appears on the internet. Obtained by Laura Mansfield prior to hitting open sites, the video shows what is believed by CNN analysts to be a pre 9/11 bin Laden in militant garb openly praising martyrs and martyrdom. This segment comprised 50 seconds of a 40 minute video tape time stamped just a few days prior to the finding. This report by CNN Correspondent Joshua Levs breaks down the "known" numbers of al Qa'ida as well as other statistics that indicate the organization may not be as large as feared. More importantly, he touches on the significance of the "al Qa'ida brand" that has inspired numerous groups around the world.
