Robbery "Scotiabank" Vol qualifié, Moncton, NB

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for your assistance in identifying the suspect in this security camera photo, in relation to a robbery.

On Saturday, November 29,2008 at 12:09pm the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a robbery at the Scotiabank located at 135 Trinity Drive in Moncton. A man walked up to the cashier and demanded money. No weapon was used. No one was injured. The man left with an undisclosed amount of money and was seen leaving in a red car. He was described as being in his forties, approximately 6 feet tall and over 200 lbs., wearing a long dark coat,a hat, and glasses. Investigation is ongoing.

Le Service régional de Codiac de la GRC demande votre aide afin d'identifier la personne sur cette photo prise d'une caméra de sécurité. Cette personne est suspecte a une enquête d'un volqualifié. Samedi, le 29 novembre 2008 à 12h09, des membres du Service régional de Codiac de la GRC se sont rendus sur les lieux d'un vol qualifié à la banque Scotia, situé au 135 promenade Trinity à Moncton. Un homme est entré à la banque et exiga à la casière de lui remette de l'argent. Il n'a pas utilisé d'arme. Personne n'a été blessé. L'homme s'est enfuit avec une somme indéterminée et quitta les lieux dans une voiture rouge. L'homme est décrit comme étant dans sa quarantaine, mesurait à peu près 6 pieds et pesait plus que 200 livres. Il portait un manteau long de couleur fonçé, un chapeau et des lunettes. L'enquête se poursuit. On demande à quiconque possède des renseignements sur ce vol qualifié de communiquer avec le Service régional de Codiac de la GRC au(506)857-2400 ou avec Échec au crime au 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).

i was the customer right after the robber .. he looked so suspecious .. he did his thing really quick .. and after i realised what happenned .. i took my truck (black escalade) and i drove around the bank to maybe try to catch him .. but with no success .. but im glad noone was hurt .. especially the lady behind the counter ..

Ok, the clothing is a bit big and obviously this is no business man. I suggest you go look at the surveillance video at Value Village a few hours before the robbery and the culprit may may be on their surveillance buying the over coat, hat, etc.

It's a start and likely where he bought the clothes cheap!

You would think a bank would have a better surveillance system...a little closer of a look would help..
