Icecrown Citadel Fails

Just a few clips of random wipes from Festergut and Rotface in Icecrown Citadel. These were from our first few tries on these bosses. Dark Swarm is a small casual raiding guild on Azuremyst US. We raid maybe once or twice a week and have many people swapping out day to day, let alone not having the "ideal" raid composition.

Basically, you fail because you don't spend 5 minutes of your raging social lives to read up on tactics.

@jamanduloli2 Reading fail... Um, we DID in fact do that, for one and for two, one shotting everything is not our top priority. We are CASUAL. We do not live in mommy and daddy's basement and wow is not our lives. There is a pretty big difference between reading and doing. I could read books on building airplanes but it doesn't mean I can actually build an airplane. Again, since you failed to read it, this was our first night on him and managed to down him on the 4th try.

@PaladinswordSaurfang Yeah. We fail cause we have lives outside the game and aren't hardcore and it took 4 tries to down Festorgut ON OUR FIRST TRY AT HIM.

Lemme tell you something. We take game for what it is, A GAME. We are not concerned with being perfect or being hardcore and one shotting everything. We play it as a group of like minded friends to have fun. Vent is full of joking, carrying on and having a good time between bosses. Sorry we aren't 1337 like you.

This fight is one of the tougher ones, imo. Relies a lot on the tanks, the ranged being able to cast as many instants as possible while collapsing, and on healers being able to throw out a lot of big heals. First time my guild did this fight, our OT managed to get aggro at 8 stacks, but I wasn't prepared with PS after his Shield Wall ran out and he died after the 3rd blight. xD They never let me forget that either.

@Thedrizzle404 It's a stacking buff. It deals damage upon application and gives a buff that increases damage done by 10% per application. The 10th application causes you to explode and kill anyone within range of you (i.e. melee and MT or OT), so the OT has to taunt at 8-9 stacks.

im not sure of a good way to record vent. ive never looked into it, but i bet theres a good program you could download to record all of it. im guessing the stacks of bloat make him asplode. :o

@Thedrizzle404 The guy at the end was Vallyr, our disc priest. He apparently had his fan going which caused the horrible noise on vent. For whatever reason, my software did not record my voice from vent, only the incoming channels so the funny parts couldn't be heard. I'll be putting the things I said in the video for you to read as they were pretty funny, least just before getting 10 stacks of bloat. lol!

nice fails. i couldnt rly tell what was going on, as ive never done ICC. that guy at the end sounded like he was playing in a hurricane.
