@ExtremeNerd2000 Perhaps it's not Eric who changed, but it was Cory's perspective on him. As the younger brother, he looked up to Eric as the "cool" older brother but as he grew up, he realized that Eric was crazy and screwed up.

@Rikermeister No, for some reason they always makes the standard dumb character on sitcoms increasingly stupider as the series gets older. Never liked that. Eric after he got into college is kind of amusing, but I think he was way cooler at the beginning of the series.
