Ubuntu Browser speed test

In this highly unscientific but fun to watch test I pitted Firefox, Chrome, Opera 10.53, Rekonq & Midori against one another to see which was the fastest.

I chose to test was cobrastarship.com simply because it is one of the slowest sites to load in any browser I try on Ubuntu - sadly not every browser could even manage to load it without choking!

Please i'm a very disappointed user of ubuntu because i can't use any of my 3 tv tuners.

Can you help me setup my pinnacle hybrid pctv pro usb tv tuner i have ?

I would be so happy if i could watch analog/digital tv with ubuntu.

When I tested this site on Xubuntu 10.10 with Chromium 9, Swiftfox (FIrefox) 3.6, Minefield (Firefox) 4 beta 12, Uzbl, Midori 0.3.2, Arora 0.10.2, Opera 11.01, Konqueror 4.6 and SeaMonkey 2.0.11, surprisingly SeaMonkey came in the fastest, twice.

Did you any blockers?

If that's the case it means Opera ended up slowed down to to lack of ad blocker for Opera back when this was made.

Chrome is by far the best browser these days... Simple and effective!

@Reproductivist Chrome is too (Chromium is BSD'd, but he uses Chrome in this video).

@thisismy7thusername What OS? Rekonq is based on Chrome, but not for newbs the way chrome is. It's almost like Opera IMO, but Opera isn't very good in Ubuntu.
