How do you do the laser?

That one was drawn on Paintshop Pro X. Hard to describe but it was simply drawing a white shape, adding blue blur to the edges and then copying it on a layer over itself set to options like "dodge" and "hard light". Just experiment with different layer filters and you'll find good effects.

Various images on the internet, though inevitably there were bits I had to draw and manipulate myself to get it to fit.

It's a still photograph, so I just edited it in Corel Paintshop Pro X then put it into a basic video editor.
