I am sooooo sorry for not posting this past week! I have been super busy and I wasn't allowed on the computer! :( But to make it up to you, I will posting another chapter either today or tomorrow! Hope you enjoy! :D

Rory's POV:
Joe had to go early to the game, so I had to go with Nick and Kevin. But I figured that would be fun too, it always was. I climbed into the car with those two and then we were off to the game. When we got close to the football field, they ambushed me about my feelings for Joe.

"So Rory, what's up with you and Joe lately?" Kevin asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked coyly.
"You know what I'm talking about." He looked in the mirror of the car and smiled at me.
"No I really don't." I said, even though I could feel myself blushing.

My mind just kept spinning and all I could think about was Joe and how I felt about him. I wasn/t really even paying attention to Nick and Kevin anymore. I was still sitting in the car, but my mind was somewhere else.

"So how long have you been in love with Joe by the way?" Nick asked.
"Since I was thirteen." I mumbled.

Then I snapped out of my trance and realized what I had said! Oh man! This is bad! They both laughed, and then Nick turned around and smiled at me.

"That long, huh?" He asked.

Well, the truth was already out. I guess I might as well fess up.

"Yeah, that long." I blushed.
"Well when are you going to tell him? You know that he loves you, and you love him. So, when are you going to just admit it?" Kevin asked.
"Seriously, you guys are taking forever!" Nick added in.

They were right; I was taking way too long. But it was hard. I wanted Joe to tell me that he loved me. I wanted him to be sure of his feelings for me and admit them.

"I just want that perfect moment, you know?" I said to them.
"Sometimes the perfect moment isn't what you think. Sometimes the moment that takes your breath away is just as good as a moment that is perfect." Nick said. "And besides, every moment you are with someone you love is perfect."

Wow, the boy was deep. And maybe he was right. Maybe there was no perfect moment. Maybe love was the only thing that mattered, regardless of anything else.

"I'll think about it." I said, biting my lip.
"That's all we ask." Kevin smiled. He was the best fake big brother ever.

We pulled into the parking lot and walked up to find a seat on the bleachers. I didn't even know that Jaime was there, but he came to sit by me.

"Well hello there." He said.
"Hey." I said simply.

The football players had just walked out onto the field, and I saw Joe.

Joe's POV:
We all walked out on the field and I looked up to the stands. I saw Nick and Kevin, and then I saw her... Rory. I looked to her left and saw Jaime. Why did he always have to ruin things for me? I'll tell you one thing... Rory wont be able to pay attention to him tonight. I am going to play so well that she can't take her eyes off me. Lets see how Jaime likes that.

Then whistle blew, and I started my plan. This was going to be my game.

Rory's POV:
Joe was having a great game! I really could not take my eyes off him! Jaime kept trying to talk to me, but I just couldn't focus on anything he was saying. All I could focus on was Joe running down the field. It was perfect.

"You may want to close your mouth, I think you drooling." Nick whispered in my ear halfway through the game. He chuckled and I just laughed a little.

I sat there for the rest of the game watching him, and then the game ended. Joe was the hero of the game once again! He always was! I ran down to the sidelines and was going to give him a hug, but some cheerleader came over and kissed him! He pushed her away and looked shocked. Okay, what had just happened? I know that she didn't kiss my Joe!

Joe ran over to me and wiped his mouth.

"Did you see that?" He asked horrified.
"Yeah." I smiled, not wanting to look jealous.
"Some girls are so crazy." He smiled. "But not you."
"You had a great game." I told him. "I couldn't focus on anything but you."

And it was true, I really couldn't. He embraced me in a big hug and then he grabbed my hand.

"Come on, let's go home." He suggested.
"Are we walking?" I asked.
"If you want." He shrugged.
"I want to." I nudged his shoulder and then we started walking home.

Looks like Jaime couldn't make her look away! But will he be able to at the dance???
