I figured from the lyrics the title is a reference to the chants from homophobes outside the church and that the marriage in question is a civil union.

from the title alone, i could tell that It's just a social comment, and not an actual preach to get marriage banned. In fact, from what i can hear, It's probably a love song.

I came to a simpler non-hostile conclusion first because I'm not an idiot who looks around for socially liberal extremists to prey on at every opportunity.
