I would of asked the first guy in the video if I could purchase his drum. I watch all the Antique Road Show and Pawn Shop shows. The drum he was beating looked authentic enough (I'm no professional though) to have taken a risk on.

Nice videos..how bout something on South africans of other races like the Afrikaners or the Indians? Gandhi lived a fair amount of his lifetime in South Africa..how about retracing the places he lived?

Interesting, it must be a very different atmosphere then what people encounter every day. Africa, with its vast land, beautiful and humble people...it is a shame so much conflict exist there. In ones lifetime, going to Africa is a must.

Were there lots of these shops in South Africa? Did they all have the same items for sale? When I've traveled internationally I've noticed that each country has a few identical items that EVERY tourist shop carriers.
