Here are more pictures and video of my second Radio control fishing boat made almost entirely of popsicle sticks. The hull is sealed with epoxy and it is powered by a 540 motor with a Traxxas Villain drive line.

All music is from www.freeplaymusic.com
This is the 2nd video of this boat. Please see my first video for construction pics and more video of this boat and her older sister also made of popsicle sticks.

  • Are you able to like put plastic to cover the hull?

    Yes or no

  • @zr1driftmods The hull is coated with epoxy which is just like plastic.

  • Spear can you make a new vid that has the DIAGRAM of this boat that will be great.

  • @zr1driftmods I don't have much time for anything these days, but I'll keep it in mind. Maybe I'll get a chance sometime.

  • Hey Guy, dont know if U remember but I contacted U a few months back when I built my BROOKLYN class cruiser out of pop. sticks. Im wondering if U have any good still photos of the motors and wiring? Im building 2 more boats and intend to motorize them so any drawings, pics, diagrams would come in handy.

  • @dlharwood Check my video of my first rc popsicle boat, the tug boat. I think there are some close up stills of the internal parts on that. I don't really have any other pics than what's in the videos.

  • I WANT it!

  • @lisahutch98 thanks. if you want to see my popsicle stick boats look on my page. oh and what kind of epoxy do you use.

  • @sodalover789 The outside is epoxied. My first popsicle boat was only epoxied on the inside and requires supergluing joints every spring because they crack. This one is done inside & out. No cracking problems.

  • can you put the epoxy on the outside?

  • would you be able to put the epoxy on the outside of the boat or just the inside?

  • Outside looks a little ruff but in my eyes as a fisherman it makes it all the more true to form or scale whatever.PLease dont take the ruff part as disrespct. Its an awsome boat.one of the more realistic ive seen..

  • you need to get a little net for it then you could trawl for minnows

  • what kind of epoxy did you use theres so many kinds know lol

  • where did you get the reciver and the other stuff from and how much it cost?
