The song "I dreamed a dream" (recently revived by Susan Boyle) is surely the saddest song ever written or sung. Sad. Tragic. Emotional. It captures the human heart, broken, disillusioned, discouraged, lonely... Often people are crying, tears flowing down their faces because this is the song of their lives. Can there be a happy ending to the heartbreak?
In this video we follow the story of a balloon. A bad romance. The story of our dreams of love that get crushed by life until we meet the LOVE OF OUR LIVES! Then all dreams come true! We are dreamers. Do you remember Phantom of the opera and all the dreams inside my head? Many songs are sung about the dreams we dream. Immediately coming to mind: Celine Dion Maybe I dream too much, Miley Cyrus That dream Im dreaming..., Britney Spears I dream of him... and Sting I dream of rain, I dream of gardens in the desert sand, I wake in pain... Many songs tell the sad story of how dreams end in pain: Evanescence: I dream in darkness I sleep to die... and Lindsay Lohan: I dream of another you, one who would never, never leave me alone... Disillusioned, sad: Such a lonely world, when I close my eyes I dream... (Groove Coverage ~ 7 Years & 50 Days). Many are cynically hopeless like the family guy episode: "I Dream of Jesus". What happened to your dream?

I dreamed a dream is my favorite song from the spectacular musical Les Miserables. It was sung by Elaine Paige, Judy Kuhn, Lea Salonga, Michael Ball, Aretha Franklin, Patti LuPone and brilliantly by Susan Boyle on Britains got talent. My father got this idea. He lives in California and we in Ukraine. Over the Atlantic we worked on this video with him via email and skype. This was the result of our cooperation.
