@bigred42091 CV used to run their GP-9s long hood forward almost all of the time for safety. Norfolk Western used to do the same with their engines.

We are CTC from West River to Windsor. Also that area at East Northfield is CTC within TWC territory.

I see

cant when there is not unit facing that way, they are all facing the wrong way, so sometimes you have to run backward.

Awesome power!

Huh, nice vid.
If i was the driver, i would try to operate by short hood. Because long hood you have a hell of a blind spot to deal with.

Nice video but why are there signals in Northfield? I thought NECR was "Dark Territory" (unsignalled.)

The scene with the signal at East Northfield is where the B&M/Pan Am Southern Conn River line joins the NECR.

On 12/10 NECR 4047, NYS&W 4054, and FEC 722 led 323 north. The power wye'd in Bratt. and took 324 south to Palmer the next day. Looks like they took 323 north with all units facing south again.
In your tags you might want to correct FEC 721 to FEC 722.
Nice shots!
